Olympic Cable Company (OCC) began its operations in 1968 in Larkin Industrial Estate, Johor Bahru, as a producer of housing wires and low voltage electric cables. In the years that followed, the company experienced a significant growth and was acquired by PJ Development Holdings Berhad (PJD) in 1990.
